Foundation Robotics Tournament is a robotics competition for students who want to discover the world of FIRST, try engineering and take their first steps in robotics competitions.
Participants build and program a LEGO robot themselves. The robot completes missions on the game field in autonomous mode. In 2 minutes the team must score as many points as possible, completing tasks in the order they choose and following their own strategy.
FRT helps students take their first steps in robotics: learn to build and program robots, develop engineering thinking and work as a team. Here mistakes are part of learning, and what matters most is not only winning, but the experience gained along the way.
!Teams from other cities may participate only with an adult supervisor.
Depending on their place, winners and participants will receive tournament merch, medals, trophies and certificates.
